Anita graduated from the State University of New York at Oneonta in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Theatre and a Bachelor of Arts in English. While studying theatre, Anita had opportunities to work as an actor, electrician, carpenter, properties master, assistant stage manager, stage manager, director, and producer. As she worked on productions of varying scale, from simple staged readings to fully realized productions, stage management and properties became her areas of most intense focus. Managing the chaos of a production schedule, rallying the actors in rehearsal, and calling the show provide her a continual challenge and source of joy. She also enjoys tracking down and creating props because of the role they play in establishing the world on stage and in helping the actors better understand their characters. Anita is excited to utilize and expand her skills in stage management, properties, and other areas as she continues her journey through the exciting world of theatre.
